Pride Health is hiring for an MRI Technologist to support our client’s medical facility based in Phoenix, Arizona . This is a contract opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans on patients according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients safely and comfortably for imaging procedures.
• Operate MRI equipment and monitor scans to ensure high-quality diagnostic images .
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to MRI safety protocols , including screening for contraindications (e.g., implants, pacemakers).
• Assist radiologists by providing images for interpretation and documenting patient data accurately.
• Educate patients and families about MRI procedures, addressing questions and alleviating concerns.
• Maintain MRI suite cleanliness, sterilization, and equipment calibration according to hospital standards.
• Monitor patients during scans for adverse reactions or complications, taking appropriate action if needed.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures, patient information, and imaging results for compliance and reporting.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

• ARRT (MR) required. BLS (AHA) required.
• Arizona State license
• Atleast 1 year experience

• Location: Phoenix, Arizona .
• Job Type: Contract
• Schedule: 0700-1730-40 gtd wkly hrs
• Pay Range/Salary Range: $60.50-$66.50/hr
