The Oromo Community in Scotland (Registered Charity SC050737) was founded in 2015 in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom. It works to enhance and facilitate education, pathways to employment, counselling, youth empowerment, social integration, promoting and creating a vibrant, cohesive community that is well connected to the values of the larger Scottish society.

OCS MISSION

OCS is a registered community organization based in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom. Established in 2015 by the Oromos residing in the city of Glasgow, particularly for the benefit of people from Oromia, Ethiopia living in the UK, to relieve poverty by the provision of an advice service and to provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation of leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life of such persons.
